Networks

Since when did a marketing professional, or any professional for that matter, have to belong to over 10 online social networks? This is getting ridiculous. I have enough trouble keeping up with the accounts I have and those only include facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

For example, at the end of an article I just read:

Connect with me on these networks: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, MyRagan, Mediapost, LadiesWhoLaunch, SavorTheSuccess, PROpenMic, PitchEngine, EntrepreneurConnect, Inc. BizNet, Variety¹s The Biz, MerchantCircle, IndustryGrind, MyCityFaces ­ NYC, and FastPitch Network.

Count them. 16. Unbelievable.
